Dag 712: A new phase for an old flange

Today I start my 505th month of life and in lue of any recent weekly woss action I am enclosing a recipe idea for you to try:

The recipe was named and improved by Paolo from an original half baked idea of mine.
It is called "Vitello alla Siarrem"

ingredients() {
lightly floured veal escalope;
sliced chestnut mushrooms;
shredded baby leeks;
baking potatoes;
sherry;
butter;
salt;
pepper;
}

method() {
Place the potatoes in the oven to bake;

wait until the potatoes are about ready;

heat the butter until just sizzling, then place the escalope in to it;

fry for about 2 minutes turning once;

remove the escalope cut into thin strips and set aside;

fry the mushrooms, when these have taken on a bit of colour add the leeks;

gently fry until most of the exuded water has evaporated then mix in the veal;

once the melange has recovered its temperature flambé it with the sherry;

split the potatoes and dress with the veal;

serve immediately with a Baltika in a frozen glass;

OK I could have gone much further with this them with the "until', "then" and "when" bits etc, but I couldn't be bothered.

Anyway, I haven't tried this, but I am sure it will be very nice.
